Research writing prizePhD student Kelly Pearce scored third prize in the prestigious British Council and NewScientist Australian Science Writing Competition. Kelly wrote about her research area: “Can a juicy lamb chop help finght the battle against Australia’s devastating salinity crisis”. Kelly’s PhD studies are jointly supervised by Dr David Pethick from Murdoch University and Dr David Masters from CSIRO Livestock Industries. The competition was open to Australian honours or postgraduate students in science, engineering or technology at an internationally registered University in Australia. |
