Past peer tutors have
found that there are many advantages to being involved in STAR tutoring.
It is a great way to improve skills in:

At the end of your time as a STAR peer tutor there is much more than just the feeling of having voluntarily helped someone else. You also qualify for a university-authorised document that details your assignment as a peer tutor / mentor and the specific skills you have been able to develop and use. And it demonstrates that you are a person of exceptional commitment and adaptability - because working in a classroom is a challenge as well as fun. |
