The STARtrek Science Show, a collection of hands-on science activities, is aimed at promoting science, its importance and relevance to everyday life. A team of peer tutors takes the show to regional high schools in WA during a non-teaching week each semester. While the focus of the show is science, peer tutors who are not enrolled in science are also encouraged to be part of the STARtrek team; the main pre-requisite is an appreciation for the importance, breadth and scope of science.
