This programme has experienced phenomenal growth over the last four years and now involves over 1000 peer tutors in Singapore. The programme, which was launched by Mathew Yap, is much more than an academic tutoring programme. The student mentors, volunteers from Singapore's universities, polytechnics and colleges, are role models for their school student mentees, who often have few such role models available.
